The Fritz Smith Memorial Art Award is given in memory of Fritz Smith, a 米兰体育 art student who died in an auto accident in 1959. This award is given annually, at the discretion of the committee, to a student of 米兰体育 for the purchase of an outstanding painting or drawing. The award-winning painting or drawing will become the property of 米兰体育 and will be assigned to the Fritz Smith Memorial Art Award Collection.
